Studio Activities: Week 5
Model Making
For these models, I measured the widths and lengths of my home study/ lounge room and changed the scale from 1:10 to 1:20 so they would be easier to work with.
I enjoyed using white paper as it has a clean appearance, and effectively shows the structure of the room. Although, it was difficult to make changes as pieces couldn't be easily moved as they ripped the paper. Using the cardboard, I was able to have a more solid structure and shape. I enjoyed playing with different forms and folds for the last model as it added creativity to the space.
